About Camping...

I went camping at lake wilderness for 5 days (starting with June 24) and there was no service. I went with my mom, dad, neighbor, and sister. It was REALLY hot and we went swimming in the lake by a beach. On the way to the beach, I took a couple of photos of the beautiful landscape around. My dad, neighbor, and mom bought TONS of food that I still have. My neighbor is a chef and is REALLY good at camping so, one of the nights, she made a delicious lasagna right in the fire. She also made mac n' cheese. When it came to sleeping, We all slept on air mattresses in the tents. Me, my mom, and my sister slept in one tent while my dad and my neighbor slept in the other. In the mornings, me, my mom, and my sister would be the only one awake early and we would have breakfast. I think the only downside about camping was that the portapotties would barely be clean and we would smell the horrible stench that made us almost vomit. Other than that, I had fun especially when it came to fishing. I'm not really good at casting yet, but I'm very strong to the point where one time when I swung the bait into the water, the whole mechanism fell off into the water as well. I had a fun time and I think my favorite thing about camping is going to the camp store and trying out the Avery sodas.
