About Thanksgiving...

I'm sorry I wasn't able to get photos because I fell into a food coma, but I'll tell you about my thanksgiving.

I went over to my grandma's house the day before thanksgiving. I was with my mom, my neighbor, and my sister, and we were excited to see the cats (Tiki, Tiger, Mini, and Puff). Before we drove to her house, we made cookies and mac n' cheese (my mom makes the best mac n' cheese in the ENTIRE universešŸ˜). When we arrived, my sis and I settled in, and my neighbor, grandma, and ma prepared the turkey, carefully peeling the skin, and stuffing herbs underneath it. We didn't cook it, since Thanksgiving was the next day. It had been ages since we had seen the cats, so they were shy and curious, but they still loved to scritch and petted. We had pizza, mozz sticks, jalapeno poppers, and bacon n' cheese bread for dinner, and then we went straight to sleep afterward. It wasn't a quiet night though because the cats decided to fight and one of them was crying which woke everyone up except my sister (don't ask me how she slept through that. I have no idea.), but it didn't last long and the night was finally quiet. šŸ˜… I thought Tiki was going to try and jump on my head (he usually always does that šŸ˜›), but I guess that was because he was mostly hanging out underneath the couch even though it was blocked with boxes. On Thanksgiving morning, I woke up to my mom and grandma cooking the Turkey and stuffing its butt with buttery delightness (garlic, onions, lemon, and spices.). I had baked goods and fresh cinnamon sticks with syrup for breakfast, and I let mini steal my bed (I couldn't tell him to get off, he looked SO cute while cuddling in it.) I didn't really do much on Thanksgiving while they were cooking, so I was watching youtube. During lunch, I didn't eat anything, as I was saving my stomach for a big feast, but I played card games with my sister, she won a lot of crazy eight games, and we talked about a lot of stupid stuff until we fought. šŸ˜Š When all the food was baked, boiled, and cooked, we all ate in the kitchen, where there was a big round table, and there was so much food on it (There was mash potatoes, cranberry sauce, yams, salad, mac n' cheese, cookies, turkey, gravy, pie, ice cream, and stuffing). We started eating before grandma realized that we forgot to say what we were thankful for, so we stopped eating, so we could hear everyone as they spoke. Everyone was most thankful for their family and friends. I said that I was thankful for my family and food, but I was thankful for many more things, but my head was clogged. šŸ˜ I piled more food than I realized I should've, but I was too polite to put any of it back, so I had to eat it all.šŸ˜… I had to lie down on the couch, for a couple of hours, in the middle of eating before returning to finish it, and I had to lie down for another hour before I could eat dessert. Everyone was surprised that I had eaten so much food, but they also teased me about the other times I had eaten so much food. (I'm surprised myself that I've never considered mukbangs before) I thought I was going to spend another night at grandma's, but my mom decide that we should go home. I was so sad (but I wasn't crying) since I didn't expect that and I hadn't prepared myself to say goodbye to grandma, my uncle (I didn't really include him in the story because he was mostly asleep), and the cats. I hope y'all had an amazing Thanksgiving!
