Description: A real story inside a fictional one of my Thanksgiving.

My name is Zilthai, and this is the story of my Thanksgiving feast. Some people say my name means "my talk" or "my shadow" sometimes I wonder if that's why I am named, in such a weird way.

Anyway, this story takes place at my neighbor's house.

Avani's living room was the first thing to be seen as I entered her home. To the right, there was a door that I went through to enter the kitchen. Avani was in there baking away at a glistening turkey.

"Can you help chop the onions?" She asked as she moved from the turkey to a bowl full of diced turnips, carrots, celery roots, and sweet potatoes. "I'll need you to chop them to small bits."

"Ok," I replied. "Do you need me to chop the tomatoes too?"

"Yeah, sure." She replied. "Thanks."

When I finished cutting the onions and tomatoes, she told me to leave the onions and to place the tomatoes in a medium bowl. She then asked me to chop some fresh sage and place it in the same bowl. I put in olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, basil, and oregano to flavor it up.

I was going to cut the bread before Ring Ring the front door opened, and two people arrived.

Beneste and Bahram brought cheesy biscuits and extra snacks to our coffee table, which was full of delicacies.

I exited the kitchen to relax on the couch and take photos for my blog, and Beneste took over assisting Avani.

My sister, Olivia, came in and sat on the couch using crutches.

By like four o'clock, my mom and pop came with homemade mac n' cheese, green beans, pumpkin pie, and apple pie.

We started running out of room for food. We had stuffing, garlic bread, chocolate PB ice cream pie, banana strawberry, chocolate ice cream pie, cookies of many kinds, cranberry sauce, and more.

We all grabbed plates, utensils, and delicious food/beverages before sitting down and saying what we were all thankful for.

We all were most thankful for our friends, family, and don't forget the cats.

We all then ate as much food as we could hold and watched some old TV shows.

Then, my pop and Bahram started a fight about who was better at chess.

They played against each other, and Bahram was pretty good at it; he won.

The dishes were done.

And then I fell asleep.

The End.🙂
